At Pacific Permascaping, our permaculture landscape design services help homeowners and landowners throughout western Oregon and Washington transform their properties into productive, resilient, and beautiful living systems. Rather than short-term fixes or trend-driven landscaping, we create landscapes that improve with age by designing with longevity in mind.
Using permaculture principles, we carefully observe your land’s natural patterns, including sunlight, soil conditions, water flow, and existing vegetation. From there, we design systems that work with those patterns, reducing maintenance while increasing productivity and ecological health.
Our designs balance refined aesthetics with real function. Food production is integrated seamlessly into the landscape so gardens feel intentional, calm, and cohesive instead of cluttered or utilitarian.

Permaculture is a design approach that takes cues from natural ecosystems, arranging plants, soils, and water systems so they support one another over time. Instead of relying on constant inputs, permaculture landscapes are designed to become more resilient with age by building healthy soil, using water efficiently, and increasing biodiversity.
For example, a well-designed food forest layers fruit trees, shrubs, herbs, and groundcovers so they share resources, reduce weeds, and produce food with less ongoing maintenance, creating a landscape that grows more productive and balanced year after year.
